Blogtober Day 3 - October TBR

Hello everyone! Gosh, it's October 3rd, wow. Well, that means that it's the 3rd day of Blogtober and today's prompt is October TBR. (TBR means to-be-read by the way)

City of Lost Souls - Cassandra Clare

OKAY THIS. SERIES. MAN. I'm freakin obsessed, it's so so amazing and ah! It's probably my second favorite book series now. Wow wow wow. This is the final book (it's pretty long, 700 pages) and I NEED to read it because City of Fallen Angels left me on a cliffhanger. Curse you Cassandra Clare!

My favorite characters so far are Isabelle Lightwood (who I might be for Halloween) and Simon Lewis. I SHIP THEM SO HARD. SIZZY FOR LIFE MAN

Dorothy Must Die - Danielle Paige

When I was reading the description of this book, I was interested. I want to read the story of 'The other girl from Oz'. I love books that are twists on old stories, they're some of my favorites to read so this should be interesting for me :)

Scarlet - Marissa Meyer

This is the second book in the Lunar Chronicles and I hope it's as great as Cinder was! Cinder left us on a cliffhanger, ugh. Cinder was a really great book, the characters were strong, the plot was amazing and I have high hopes for Scarlet!

My favorite character from the last book was Cinder, she was so amazing and strong and overall a fantastic character.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl - Jesse Andrews

I watched the trailer for the movie adaption and thought: I need to read this book. It seems like a TFIOS/Papertowns thing but people have told me it's amazing. I'm not fond of the 'high school' sort of books, I had to push myself to pick up TFIOS, but I might give this one a chance.

That's all the books I want to read this October! If you want to know how I'm doing with my reading, I'll have a Books I've Read in October list on my sidebar for you to check out :)

Don't forget! If you do an October TBR post, link up up there! And if you want to participate in Blogtober, check out all the prompts here!

Thanks for reading,
Noor

  2. I need to read Scarlet too! I finished Cinder like last year and if I wait any longer to read the rest of the series then I'll probably forget the plot. (my fave was Iko, she was just so sassy and hilarious and perfection in a little android)

    1. Also, "City of Heavenly Fire" is the last book in the TMI series :)
I would also recommend the prequel series (TID). It gives a lot more insight into the world of Shadowhunters :)

  7. SCARLET IS SO AWESOME! I hope you love it! The Lunar Chronicles is my new favorite series! It's the only series that I can say I'm "head over heels" for and I think that's the only way to describe it. Also, the ship featured in Scarlet is my most favoritest (other it didn't become my favorite until after read Cress. Cinder and Kai are strong rivals, okay?). I really, really hope you like it. It's supposed to be a twist on Little Red Riding Hood, but I was getting a few Beauty and the Beast vibes too.

Ahem. I should stop before I tell you everything about the book. (But the next one is Cress! And that one is the most hilarious book I've read all year. Okay, stopping now.)

This link up looks like fun! If I have time today I'll see if I can my TBR up and participate. :D

  8. I loved the lunar chronicles to pieces. But I really did not like Cassandra Clare's TMI at all. I felt that the characters were not as fleshed out thoroughly. The world building is great, the plot is fairly decent but the characters- not so much. I heard that the clockwork series was much better so I'm going to try reading that!

Hey! Yes you, you're about to leave a comment, why thank you! Just remember, if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
