What career would you like to pursue?
Hmm, I want to be a professional blogger, that would be pretty cool. But I also want to become a doctor or a scientist and save people.
WAIT. Is being a superhero a career option?
Books or movies? It depends. I love reading more but sometimes movies are better than books.
What philosophy do you live by? Treat other people the way you would want to be treated, and they will treat you the same way.
Messy or organised? Depends on what we're talking about. My room is messy and my bookshelf is completely organized :P
What is the thing you most strongly believe in? Hmm, what do I strongly believe in... I guess my religion. Probably not the answer you were looking for Jo, but I strongly believe in Allah and that He is watching over me.
What is your favourite quality in a person and why? That they're able to understand. They understand that you want to be left alone or need someone next to you. I love it when someone just understands me, then I know we can be good friends.
Some blog posts that you've been loving recently? Oh wow, this is hard. Probably Eve's summer video, I've watched it over and over, it's so beautiful!
Are you more practical or more creative? I would say a little bit of both :)
What is your blog purpose? Meet new people, share my thoughts and ideas with the world, and have fun!

What makes you happy? Blogging, drawing, DIYing, reading, writing, playing outside, listening to music.
Would you rather be a firebender, earthbender, waterbender, airbender? Waterbender, I love water :)
MY 11 QUESTIONS:
1) What's a quote you live by?
2) What are some of your favorite blogs?
3) Why did you start blogging?
4) Favorite bands/artists?
5) Share a weird fact about yourself.
6) Describe yourself in 4 words.

The Summer Blogger Book Club

Hello everyone! New design, yay! Do you guys like it? I don't think I'm going to change it for a while :)

I have a huge announcement to make! I'm starting a summer blogger book club! I thought it would be a good idea, since most of the bloggers here love books! Alright, let's get into the rules and stuff :) Last year I did a summer camp, this year it's a book club

Who can join?
Anyone! As long as you're able to talk about the book (on your blog, in the comments, etc)

What kinds of books are we going to be reading?
Any kinds you want, leave suggestions in the comments :D

What if I don't have the book that we're going to be reading?
We'll have multiple books for each session, and if you don't have any of those books, you can read any book you want :D I'll always leave links to cheap copies of the books, just in case you want to get it.

How long do I have to read the book?
2 weeks, we will always have 2 weeks between each session.

How are we going to choose books?
Using your suggestions on this book, I'll choose 3-4 books and you can choose which book you want to read.

Why did you start this?
For fun! I really love reading and I know a lot of you do too. Plus, kids tend not to read much during the summer, so I guess this encourages summer reading :P

What do I do now?

-To sign up, all you have to do is let me know in the comments that you're joining and suggest at least 1 book for the club.

-The club starts July 1st and on my post that day, I will let you know which books you get to read.

-If you can, share the club with friends, or on your blog! The more the merrier. (Link to this post, so they know the rules) :)

-You can add this to your sidebar!

I hope you join! Leave book suggestions in the comments below :D Also, if you have a question, leave a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible :)

EDIT: There's now an official Goodreads group for this, you can find it here
P.S- Once you join, suggest some books :)

Summer Nail Picks

Hello everyone! I was inspired by the lovely Amy to do a Summer Nail Picks post! So you should click here to see Amy's summer nail picks! Alright, let's get into the post :D

P.S- If you want a blog design, I've learned some new coding skills so they have gotten better! I'll be doing them all summer, so drop me an email if you want one!

So, I'll be sharing 5 of my favorites! I found these all at Target and they came for less than $3. Plus, they're lovely colors!

Sinful Colors- "Innocent"

This color is very vibrant and fun! It's very summery and is also springy! It sort of reminds me of flower stems.

Sally Hansen- "Fuchsia Power"

I normally don't like pink, but this pink is pretty. It's nice, and not too bright. It looks like the flowers in my backyard, which are absolutely beautiful.

Sinful Colors- "Ruby Ruby"

You can never go wrong with a classic red. Actually, red goes for any season, it's basically a staple.

Sally Hansen- "Blue Me Away!"

I LOVE THIS BLUE. It's so pretty and looks so summery! It feels like an ocean-like color, which connects to summer. This blue really 'blue me away'. Hah.

Sinful Colors- "Dream On"

This purple is so beautiful! It has that nice tone. (Note: The picture makes the color look different). It feels summery and also reminds me of flowers!

I hope you enjoyed today's post! Sorry for the text on the pictures, I don't know what happened there :/

Again, if you want a custom design, I'm doing them all summer long so drop me an email if you want one!

What colors do you like for summer?

Father's Day Gift Guide

Hello everyone! Father's Day is coming up soon, so I am going to do a gift guide today! I hope this helps you all :) Oh yeah, these are all suggestions from my father, so these are probably gifts your dads will actually want.

Shaving kit
Most likely, your dad shaves. Shaving kits are a great gift, and you can get them for really cheap. I would suggest trying Amazon, they are currently having a huge Father's Day sale!

Hat/cap
Not really sure about this one, but my dad owns lots of hats and I've seen dads who own lots of hats, so I guess? Plus, you can get some for under 10 bucks so that's a plus! And they're basically everywhere, so it won't take much time to find a hat.

T-shirts
Again, just a piece of clothing, but they like it! Try to get something cool, like I got my dad this awesome Pink Floyd t-shirt last year and he loved it. So try to not get a plain t-shirt.

Here's another item from Amazon but Amazon has some awesome items and this one is like 15 dollars and it comes in so many different colors so yay!

Sport balls
Most dads are pretty sporty, so I would quickly pick up a basketball, football, etc, Dad's will love that! You can even personalize it by writing a nice message or something like that on the ball.

Mug
Pretty basic, I know. But you can get some great mugs and you can even make your own! (Search up 'sharpie mug' on Google). Here are a few of my favorites from Amazon (my go-to place)

My dad liked this one :)

Here's a decorate your own mug one that I thought was cool :D

Headphones/earbuds
My dad is the music guy so he loves headphones! I found a really cool/cheap pair of earbuds, so I thought I'd share! But some places online have some awesome and cheap earbuds/headphones.

Create him a website and leave him nice messages.
This one is kind of weird, but I thought it would be nice! This can go two ways.

1) You just have a regular blog and post nice things for your dad so he can see them on Fathers Day
2) You can actually design the blog and again, post nice things! (If you want, I can design the blog for you)

I hope you enjoyed today's post and that it helped you out :)

What are you getting/making for your Dad?

Why Kid/Teen Bloggers Are Underestimated

Hello everyone! I have a sort of opinion post for you today, so I hope you enjoy! Also, I redid my Custom Design page, so if you want a free design, go check out the page. Let's get into the post, shall we?

I've noticed that sometimes, people won't read blogs just because kids write them. I know, this doesn't apply to everyone, but people do it.

You must be wondering, how do I know this? I've seen people not read articles because kids/teens have written them. I was at the library once, getting info for an essay and someone clicked on the post and said to her friend "Oh look at this cool article about solving acne." Then the friend saw it, and said "Oh, but it's written by a 13 year old, probably not trustable." I was completely offended. (I was totally not eavesdropping, they were sitting right next to me)

So, for some reason, people think that articles/posts by kids and teens are not as great as articles by adults. That is a load of crap. Sometimes, kids and teens can create better content than adults.

I also feel like sometimes, adults will judge teens and kids for writing posts about beauty and fashion, and giving advice (especially when kids do it). I think that's totally not fair.

This is a true thing that has actually happened to me; I have gotten an email once complaining that my advice is probably not reliable, considering I'm only 10 (this was last year). Like, woah. First of all, that's rude. Second of all, that's completely unfair. So what if I'm 10? My advice can be just as good as a 22 year old, my age shouldn't matter.

I know that this is sort of a rant, but I felt like it needed to be said. Kid and teen bloggers are awesome, we have potential. We reach out to a huge audience and we are amazing at what we do.

Don't forget to check out the page if you want a design!

Guest Post: K.S Kulkarni

Hello everyone! Today I have a guest post from K.S Kulkarni from Kscrible! She wrote an amazing poem, so I thought I'd share this beautiful piece of writing!

Your life
Its your life... not a game
Take it seriously,  but not forgetting to enjoy
Not every road's nicely made,
Not every story has a good start,
But it does get better in the end
you have to try for it,
Nothings free in this world but just don't give up.
You never know what's going to come next
It maybe good ......
It maybe bad......
But believe in yourself,
Have faith
And don't forget
Stars shine in the dark
Be yourself and take every opportunity that comes your way.
You may not get to live your dream life
But trust me at the end you'll have a beautiful life....
Nothing to regret, you'll be proud of yourself
But along the way don't forget to smile and be yourself.

I hope you enjoyed! Wait, what am I saying, of course you enjoyed! Don't forget to check out K.S's blog right here!

My Happy Space

Hello everyone! Today, I thought I'd share my happy space. That space, is my room. So, today, we have horribly taken, iPhone photos, with some filters to make it look better. Enjoy :)

*whispers* this is my fall out boy poster. *tries not to fangirl* featuring my fairy lights!

This is my other, FOB thing, I also have this "Fangirl" thing I made. P.S: That rose picture up there says "Ew, you're not Pete Wentz, bye"

This is the whole wall area. I have my closet, my bedside table, my little "inspiration quote/drawing" thing above that (I drew those little flowers btw) my plant, my bed, and of course my fairy lights, yay!

Here is this huge mandala/zentangle thing I did for my wall, this isn't the whole thing, it didn't fit. I love it so much and it's fun just to stare into it :P

I have my bedside table here, with my plant, my lamp, my little bucket of lip balms and of course, the fairy lights.

Another view of my bedside table. I have a little Aries thing (obviously because I'm an Aries) that my aunt gave me, which I put on a couple books. (I think that looks cute) a perfume bottle, some of my (many) hand sanitizers, and for some reason, a plastic strawberry in a little plate (?)

This is probably one of my favorite parts in my room. I have like a secret compartment thing on my bed that stores my books (my pillow hides it). I put all my favorite books there. It's pretty cool and I don't think many people know about it so it's like my own little booky secret :D

I hope you enjoyed this post! As you can see, my photos are very filtered, I've been playing around with this app called VSCOCam. (Plus, the pictures sucked)

Also, it would be awesome if you shared your happy place! Maybe it's your bedroom, backyard, whatever! I would love to see, so drop me a link if you do that :)

Where is your happy place?

Why You're A Better Blogger Than You Think

Hello everyone! Long time no post, I've been really sick lately. Today I have a slightly inspirational post for you all, so I hope you enjoy.

1) You take the time to write posts.

Let's be real, how many people could take the time to write an actual post. You are awesome for doing that, which makes you an amazing blogger and an amazing person for being able to do that.

2) You were brave enough to create your blog.

You created a blog! You stood up one day and said "I'm going to start a blog!" and then, you did. That's awesome. I think all the blog-hosting sites should have confetti on the screen whenever someone creates a blog, because it's pretty darn amazing.

3) You're still blogging right now.

It's awesome to create a blog, but it's even more awesome to keep going. You're still blogging! Yay for you. You're still creating amazing content and that's fabulous :D

4) You made a commitment.

This might be similar to all of the others, but you did! You made a commitment to blogging. You took the time, you were brave, and you still haven't given up. You were patient enough to blog, and not just post, but do other things in the blogging world.

Go ahead. Pat yourself on the back. Good job! You're an amazing blogger! So what if you aren't famous and all that. You did awesome things, you've shown character traits that will help you; bravery, commitment, patience, and much more.

I hope I inspired you, or at least made you feel better about your blog :) Have a great day everyone!
