November Favorites

Hello everyone! You voted "Lifestyle" so I am going to do my November favorites post. I haven't done one of these in the longest time. Hope you enjoy!

FOOD

Tea

Lately I have been obsessing over tea. About a week ago, I went to the store and got some Cinnamon Apple Spice Tea and it is amazing. It's caffeine free and great for fall.

Pumpkin Scones

Starbuck's pumpkin scones are life. They taste so delicious and have that pumpkin sugar taste to it.

BEAUTY

Willa Face Wash

My Willa face wash is amazing. It works very well and I get pimples often but ever since I have been using this product, my face feels like awesomeness. You can find the website here.

Baby Lips

A lot of girls in my grade have started to wear makeup but I didn't want to wear a lot. My mom got me a pack of Baby Lips and they are awesome. They keep you from having chapped lips and work as a tinted lip gloss.

APPS

Instagram

I love using Instagram to share pictures with my friends and classmates. It's a really fun app but you have to be safe and not give any really personal information.

Sims Freeplay

I've kind of been obsessed with this game. It is so fun and addictive, I can't stop re-designing my houses. It is free on the app store so be sure to check it out.

FASHION

Sweaters

I love my sweaters. They are so soft and comfy and I wear them all the time. Half of the things I bought on Black Friday were sweaters. Not kidding.

Fuzzy Socks

FUZZY SOCKS ARE AMAZING. I'm wearing them right now and they make my feet all warm and cozy and I just love them.

BOOKS

Mark of Athena

 I recently did a Heroes of Olympus book talk and this one was my favorite. It is full of action and adventure and Rick Riordan is amazing.

Mockingjay

I actually went to see Mockingjay but I never finished the book.....oooopppssss. So before the 2nd part came out (in a year, sadly) I decided to read the book. IT WAS AMAZING!! I'll be doing a book talk on it soon!!

What To Do Over The Weekend

Hello everyone! I hope you had a fun Thanksgiving! Today is Friday and the weekend starts tomorrow! So, I am going to show you how to have a fabulous weekend!!!!! YAY

1) Watch a movie. There are a lot of interesting movies that have recently come out such as Mockingjay Part 1, Big Hero 6 and many more! You can bring a friend along and have lots of fun.

2) Read. Go to your bookshelf and pick out a random book. Sometimes when I get so bored I read the book to my stuffed animals. *runs from computer*

3) Organize your bedroom. This is a very fun activity for me! Many bloggers, youtubers, and Instagrammers have posted about this and you can get some good inspiration from Pinterest!

4) Write on your blog. Go read some blogs for inspiration and then write a good post! Check out my guest post on KBC for some tips!

5) Read some other blogs. My favorites: Snow Flake Sparkles Blog, Reflections of a Jolly Girl, Curious Pieces,  Night Writer's Diary,  and What Lexie Loves.

6) Explore Tumblr. If your parents allow you, make a Tumblr account and just browse! My favorite tag is Doctor Who....oops.

7) DIY something. Look around your house and find something bland. Then go ahead and decorate it! Be sure to ask your parents/guardian first so they don't get angry. I learned that the hard way.

8) Go crazy on Netflix. One of my fave things to do on the weekend is watch Netflix movies. If you need some advice on what to watch, check out my post that I posted recently!

9) Listen to music. Grab those earbuds/headphones and have a dance party! This helps you let loose and just let it all out!

10) Organize your desk. I just organized my desk and it felt really good. It is super fun and you might even find some stuff you didn't even know you had!

Top 5 Things To Watch On Netflix

Hello everyone! Yesterday I read an amazing post on Eve's blog about Eve's Top 10 Shows on Netflix and I was like, yes. So all credits to Eve and if you want to see the original post, click here.

 

 

 

1. Doctor Who

You guys probably saw this coming. But its amazing. Doctor Who is funny, suspenseful, and awesome. A dude in a time and space traveling box has companions and they go places in time and space. AWESOME. Plus, it's funny. I must warn you it is a bit scary so watch at your own risk. THE FEELS THO (BBC Masterpiece 1)

 

 

 

2. Merlin

My mom loves this show and got me into it. It's sort of a medieval times thing and it is funny and super cool. I love medieval stuff, I find it very interesting. Ever heard of King Arthur and Merlin? That's what this show is based on. (BBC Masterpiece 2)

 

 

 

 

3. Sherlock

Sherlock Holmes? Sherlock Holmes. Another amazing BBC masterpiece. This show is creepy and awesome at the same time. It's about well, Sherlock Holmes solving amazing and interesting crimes with his sidekick John...WATSON. If you like adventure and mystery then Sherlock is for you.

 

 

 

4. Torchwood

Torchwood is a spin-off show of Doctor Who (its actually an anagram of Doctor Who) A couple of episodes are slightly inappropriate but the rest are very funny. I wouldn't recommend it for young children, 9 and under, it is a bit scary. (BBC Masterpiece 4)

 

 





 

 





5. Once Upon A Time

This show is basically a remake of all your favorite fairy tales. From Snow White to Frozen, Once Upon A Time is a magical show full of twists and turns!

Heroes of Olympus Series Book Talk

Hello everyone! Today I am going to do a book talk for the Heroes of Olympus series. I'll do a 3-5 sentence book talk on each book.  There are spoilers so beware...

The Lost Hero- Rick did a great job of starting the series with this book. Introducing the 3 new characters was awesome. I thought it was a great book except for the fact that Leo did everything while Jason and Piper stood around looking pretty.

The Son of Neptune- Yay Percy! I was so amazed and happy when Rick introduced the Romans and Camp Jupiter. Frank was totally awesome and can shape-shift. Hazel's story is super cool. The ending was a total cliffhanger.

The Mark of Athena- This book was amazing. Annabeth's quest to follow the Mark of Athena was amazing. I loved the ending where Annabeth outsmarted Arachne, that was pretty cool. Another scary cliffhanger where Annabeth and Percy plunge into Tartarus.

The House of Hades- I can't even imagine what Tartarus is like. That's scary. I didn't really pay attention to the other part of the plot except for Piper who was amazing. The ending was amazing once again (BOB NO) but still ended on a stupid cliffhanger. (I still can't believe Nico.)

The Blood of Olympus- DAT ENDING THO. Fabulous book, just wow. I was so happy when Nico and Reyna got a part, that was cool. The ending made me cry. They will never know if Leo was alive or not. *sobs* THERE WAS A DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE. just saying

The best part is, Rick tweeted that he might be coming out with another series. YAS

MY OPINION ON THE CHARACTERS

Jason- In the first book, Jason was pretty useless. But as time went on he became awesome. I was super annoyed by the fact that he has no sense of humor whatsoever but I got over that.

Piper- Piper. Is. Cool. She is super strong and has saved Jason so many times, he can't even repay her. She was awesome throughout the series and is so fabulous I just can't.

Leo- THE LADIES LUV LEO. He is soooo awesome and funny. He is one of my favorites and he can turn the most serious situation into a time where everyone died laughing. I WANT HIM TO BE MY BEST FRIEND.

Percy- We all know Percy has some mad fighting skills. Plus he makes the craziest jokes. I just felt he wasn't so loving towards Annabeth. He barely mentioned how much he loved her in any of his chapters.

Hazel- Hazel's power is so cool. She is so awesome and is totally independent. Plus, she has the wackiest story which is so cool.

Frank- Oh my gerd FRANK. He has the best power, which is turning into animals. That is so cool and he was totally underestimated. He was probably the most calm even though he's a son of Ares/Mars.

Annabeth- Annabeth in the Mark of Athena was amazing. She kicked butt throughout the series and never failed to live up to my expectations.

The Average Internet Obsessor

Hello everyone! A lot of people said they liked "The Average ____" series so I am gonna do one with Internet people, like me. Please do not take these seriously, I am not an expert and I do not mean to offend anyone!


We are always holding an electronic.
I always have my phone, computer, or iPad in my * ADJJHFDHJFD *jumps to phone and zones out for 1 hour* I have to hide my stuff while I'm doing homework so I don't get distracted.

We have some sort of social network.
Tumblr and Instagram are popular ones but seriously, how the heck are you an Internet addict without at least 2 social networks. If you're a fangirl, well that's a different story.

Most of our friends are either internet addicts too or are just very accepting of your obsessions.
My friends have learned to deal with my fangirl attacks and it happens on a daily basis, so they're pretty cool with it.

Free time= internet.
Truth. Most of my free time consists of *scroll, double tap, type, scroll.*.

Sorry for the short post, I have to make decorations for my friend's locker because its her b-day tomorrow! (Craft on Thursday!)

Roomspirtion: My Room!

Hello everyone! Today I have a roomspiration post but I first wanna talk about something that I hate.

 I don't wanna be that kind of complainer person but my biggest pet peeve is when someone promotes their blog on someone else's, and then like asks to be tagged or something. Like, did you even read the post? Do you just wanna be promoted? Go do that somewhere else, not here. Sorry for the rant I just had to talk about that.

Okay now let's check out my newly decorated room for winter! Its not complete but its almost done!

 

 

Here's my door! I made a sign out of origami paper and ribbon. Here are the simple steps:

 

1) Get a bunch of pieces of paper, two for each letter of your name.

2) Make a heart or different shape out of (enter number of letters in name/word here) pieces of paper.

3) Glue that shape onto another piece of paper and when you've done that with all of your shapes, write out the word, string onto ribbon and voila!

 

 

 

 

This one is probs my favorite! Just make a calendar, on your wall. It's pretty self-explanatory. It's really cute and in December, you only have to make one new number! If you wanted to do reminders or something you could sticky note the reminders on the day.

 

 

 

My desk is really messy but I sorta organized it to my liking. I liked how my lotions were all organized and I found this super uber cute tray so I put my nail-polishes in it.

 

 

 

Sorta blurry pic but whatever. I have some cute had sanitizers which I collect! My favorite things are the tea lights and the little Aries picture that my aunt gave me.

 

 

 

 

The coolest thing about my bed is that it has a bookshelf built in! I bought some fake flowers and put them down there. I also have my books organized by series.

 

 

 

I made this by hole punching the middle of some snowflake doilies and stringing them onto a piece of ribbon!

 

 

 

I also taped some snow flakes to my ceilings!

1) Tea and hot chocolate? YASSSS! I love curling up with a good book (oops I left that out) and drinking some sort of hot drink.

 

2) Snow is so beautiful where I live. The way the snow sets on the trees makes me so happy! This year, I'll be sure to do a snow photoshoot for you guys.

 

3) Winter songs make me happy. We're playing Let it Go and Let it Snow in orchestra and it is awesome!

 

4) I love Thanksgiving, my mom always cooks a lot. I don't celebrate Christmas but I love being in the Christmas spirit! My dad and I drive around our neighborhood looking at all the lights, its pretty cool.

 

5) Don't call me immature but I love playing in the snow. Making snowmen, having snowball fights, rolling around, all that jazz. DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMANNNNN?

People Think I'm Cool (What?)

Hello everyone! I'm sooo sorry, I totally lost track of time and am posting this at the last minute. I've been a really bad post planner lately and have not been thinking about what to post. I do have an interview coming up so be sure to look for that.

I just wanted to ramble today about the fact that people think my blog is interesting and funny. I have nothing against it, I just think it's awesome! I've sort of (for like 5 minutes) thought about why this might be the case.

THEORY ONE- I am weird.

I guess you guys like awkwardness and weirdness because it seems to be working. I guess I just be my natural awkward self and boom, instant views. Trust me, this does not work in real life. (I wish it did, I would be like the most popular person in my school.)

 

 

THEORY TWO- My life seems "interesting".

 

Okay so this is super weird but 15 of you awesome people voted "lifestyle" as their favorite posts. Like really? You are interested in my life. Here is my schedule:

 

Wake up, eat, school, come home, internet, internet/fangirl, read, eat, internet, read, sleep, repeat.

 

It can't get any more boring than that. Basically I'm not there or I'm reading, fangirling, or on some electronic still fangirling.

 

 

 

THEORY THREE- I'm awesome.

 

I know it sounds self centered but in middle school I learned, you have to be confident about yourself. Just believe that you are truly awesome and you will do better.

 

Maybe that's why you guys like me, because I'm confident and I make good posts or something.

 

But my ultimate secret (true), theory is that I am really a witch from Harry Potter who gives all my readers love potions so they fall in love with my blog. MUAHHHAAHAHAHAHA
