A couple of days ago, a huge earthquake shook the country of Chile (in South America). The earthquake was an 8.2 on the Richter scale. (The scale in which earthquakes are "rated") The earthquake started at about 8:40 with a series of landslides that blocked off roads, almost destroyed an airport, and started fires. During the landslides, there were 6 deaths.
There was a small tsunami, but it didn't cause that much damage. Actually, the whole earthquake didn't cause that much damage. There were only about 15 deaths in total, and many parts of Chile went unharmed.
For an 8.2 leveled earthquake, this one wasn't exactly the deadliest.

Didn't know that Noor! Although an 8.2 leveled earthquake is pretty bad
