Blogtember Day 6 - Character In a Fall Scene

Hello everyone! Okay for Blogtember Day 6, you gotta write a character (anyone) in a scene relating to fall, be creative :)

THIS IS UP SO LATE IT WAS SO HECTIC TODAY SORRY IT'S 9:45 I GOTTA SLEEP FOR SCHOOL MAN

Run
Run
Run

I never learned how to hunt, it wasn’t something to be taught. Just

Run
Run
Don’t ever stop running.

Shifting makes it easier.

Dragon
To Human
Human
To Dragon.

Back and forth again. Fire, and arrows, and blood is all I’ve known. And running. Never stopping.

Let go. Flying arrow. Dying creature. Repeat the cycle. I don’t feel sympathy, or empathy, it’s life. You eat, you kill, you live. Mercy is not an option. Being alone is.

Being alone helps me to collect thoughts, focus on myself, my running, my arrows, the shift. Being alone isn’t difficult, staying alone is.

You’re never 100% alone, there’s always something nearby, watching you or it’s just there.

Fall was hunting season, prime time to find what you need. You don't look back, you forget when winter comes, and you feast.

The cold air keeps you shivering, but you run and run, and you just stop getting cold, it's like it all numbs away.

Fall is my favorite, fall is peaceful, fall means food. To some shifters, fall means death and destruction, fire and just dying, dying, dying.

For a while to me, fall meant everything falling, dying, the fall of everything beautiful, taken by the merciless hands of the shifters, who never looked back.

But I changed. And now I won't ever look back. Welcome fall, I missed you.

Hey! Yes you, you're about to leave a comment, why thank you! Just remember, if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
