Why You're A Better Blogger Than You Think

Hello everyone! Long time no post, I've been really sick lately. Today I have a slightly inspirational post for you all, so I hope you enjoy.

1) You take the time to write posts.

Let's be real, how many people could take the time to write an actual post. You are awesome for doing that, which makes you an amazing blogger and an amazing person for being able to do that.

2) You were brave enough to create your blog.

You created a blog! You stood up one day and said "I'm going to start a blog!" and then, you did. That's awesome. I think all the blog-hosting sites should have confetti on the screen whenever someone creates a blog, because it's pretty darn amazing.

3) You're still blogging right now.

It's awesome to create a blog, but it's even more awesome to keep going. You're still blogging! Yay for you. You're still creating amazing content and that's fabulous :D

4) You made a commitment.

This might be similar to all of the others, but you did! You made a commitment to blogging. You took the time, you were brave, and you still haven't given up. You were patient enough to blog, and not just post, but do other things in the blogging world.

Go ahead. Pat yourself on the back. Good job! You're an amazing blogger! So what if you aren't famous and all that. You did awesome things, you've shown character traits that will help you; bravery, commitment, patience, and much more.

I hope I inspired you, or at least made you feel better about your blog :) Have a great day everyone!

Mkay bye,
Noor

I Have To Admit....

Hello everyone! I was reading through some of my old posts (for inspiration) and I came across some of my blogging advice posts. I started reading through them and I realized, sometimes I don't follow all of my rules. So this post is going to be walking through my advice posts, and seeing if I can switch it up a little bit to make it more...human.

Post 1: 5 Don'ts Of Blogging

The one that stuck out to me was number 3, here let me share:

THE ORIGINAL ADVICE:

3. Think about the numbers

Who cares if you have 4 followers or 400 followers, well you shouldn't! Blog for happiness, not for fame. Sure, it's awesome to have 400 followers, but it doesn't really matter, as long as you're having fun!

THE HUMAN ADVICE

Let me just say it.... I THINK ABOUT THE NUMBERS! I get excited when I hit another 1,000 more pageviews, or gain a new follower! It's okay to do that kind of stuff, but if you base your whole blogging career on numbers and becoming famous, you might have to change your ideas a little bit.

Post 2: 5 Blogging Tips

THE ORIGINAL ADVICE:

1. Don't post more than twice a day. Sometimes I check out new blogs and I see 4 or 5 posts all from the same day. What catches my eye even more is that the posts are 2 or 3 sentences. Here's the main tip: try to post once a day, and keep your post longer than 5 sentences so that people are actually interested. Also, if you post too much then people won't be able to catch up with all of your new posts.

THE HUMAN ADVICE:

If you're going to post good, actually productive content, go ahead and post as many times as you want! If you're going to post crap like a random selfie or a sentence about what's going on like 10000 times a day, don't post it. Save that for Instagram or something.

Post 3: Basics You MUST Know (BBK post)

THE ORIGINAL ADVICE:

The first tip is to make your blog pretty! Get a new design, I know Eve and Lily do some great designing! Another thing you could do is check out websites like Cutest Blog on the Block for some backgrounds and templates. Libbie did a post not so long ago about this so check that out! A good design is important, people won't like your blog if you don't have a good design.

THE HUMAN ADVICE:

Your blog doesn't have to be amazing, with a custom made design and everything. Sure, it would look nice, but not everyone focuses on the design. Maybe a simple background (a solid color or something simple, but not too crazy) and visible text? If you post good content, I'm sure no one will care about your design anyways.

I hope you enjoyed this little post and that it helped you out a bit :D I have a fun summer-themed DIY for you all coming up soon YAY!

Mkay bye,
Noor

I'm Back!/ Signs That You Need A Blogging Break

Hello everyone! *dusts off computer, smiles at screen, gives virtual hug to all of you* IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK! Although I'm way behind in Nanowrimo :P. YAY! I'm here, with fresh new ideas, ready to start a new journey!

Of course, I had reasons to start my blogging break, so I'm using these reasons as signs, signs that you might need a blogging break.

It's really hard for you to keep up with your posting schedule.
Let's say you had to post every 3 days, but that wasn't really working out. You would miss days on end, and barely posted, and you felt horrible. Well, I got news for you, you need a blogging break.

ALTERNATIVE: You can expand your blogging schedule. Maybe 5 days instead of 3.

You are not coming up with any new ideas.
Everytime you write a post, it's bland and unoriginal. The ideas just aren't flowing and you have no inspiration. Well, I got news for you, you need a blogging break.

ALTERNATIVE: Spend a couple of hours, "idea hunting". Go through Pinterest and Bloglovin, scouting for ideas. This may be time-consuming, but hey! You didn't want the blogging break. '

You are just not feeling the passion to write anymore.
You don't feel like blogging, sure you have the ideas, and all the time in the world, but you just don't want to do it. Well, I got news for you, you need a blogging break.

ALTERNATIVE: There really is no alternative to this. A blogging break will help you with this, you just need a breather.

This was a short, itty bitty post, but trust me, you guys are gonna LOVE the posts that I have planned, so get excited!

Mkay bye,
Noor
