DIY Washi Tape Crafts

Hello everyone! Today I (finally) have a DIY for you! This one involves washi tape, one of my favorite crafting items :D I have 2 for you, so let's get into it!

Washi tape calendar

One of the best parts about washi tape is that it doesn't leave marks on walls or furniture! So, I created a little washi-tape calendar on my wall!

Step 1

I took a long piece of solid tape to write the days of the week.

It can be as big as you want! But don't make it too long.

Step 2

Now you're going to make the little date markers. For each number, I cut up a small square of paper:

Next, I took some of my washi tape and I covered one side of the paper with it. It should look something like this:

Finally, you can add the number. I used Sharpie, it will probably work better.

This process takes a while, I didn't get to finish before I wrote this post.

Step 3

Now, you can create the month thing! I just used paper and wrote July :P

Washi tape garland

I've seen this all over Pinterest but I thought I'd try it!

Step 1

Take a piece of washi tape and put the string on the sticky side, somewhere in the middle.

(really bad picture, sorry)

Now, fold it so the sides meet.

And, this is optional, but I made a design on the end:

And you're done!

I hope you enjoyed! (Ignore the horrible pictures) SBBC 2 IS COMING NEXT POST, FINISH YOUR BOOKS!

Thanks for reading,
Noor

  10. That's a brilliant idea. I get loads of it from birthdays and Christmas as relatives think in crafty ( so not!) My mum's got another idea but I think it might be a bit complecated. But I'm going to have a go and hopefully post it on my blog...

Hey! Yes you, you're about to leave a comment, why thank you! Just remember, if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
