DIY Guitar Out Of A Cereal Box

Hello everyone! Today I have another exciting DIY for you! I am again, participating in the 2 Crochet Hooks Craft Challenge! I am surprised how cute this turned out and I do hope you enjoyed. By the way, June is having a wonderful link up party which you can find right here! And get excited because at the end of the month, I am going to start my March blog link up party in honor of my birthday month!

YOU WILL NEED:
Any cereal box
Cardboard
String (optional, also yarn or ribbon)
Some sort of adhesive (glue, tape, stapler, etc)
Scissors
Decorating methods (optional)
Colored paper (optional)

STEP 1:
First things first, (I'm the realest), cover your cereal box with the colored paper. This is optional, but it looks much nicer.

STEP 2:
Now, grab your scissors and attempt to cut a medium sized hole. It is okay if it is a bit small, but don't make it too big. Mine is quite uneven but trust me, you guys can do better.

STEP 3:
Grab your cardboard and cut 2 strips.

Now, staple (tape, or glue. But staples work better) your strips together and then staple them to the front or back of the box. I actually cut out 2 more strips afterwards but instead stapled them to the front of the box and then stapled the top of the two long strips together. You'll see in a sec.

STEP 4:
This final step is to attach the strings. Now what I did is tape four pieces of string to the bottom on the guitar.

Now, pull the strings as tightly as you can (without ripping them off the guitar) and tape at the very top of the neck. (Now you can see how I doubled up the strips)

Go ahead and decorate and then rock out with your new guitar!

I hope you enjoyed and if you make this guitar, Instagram or Google+ post a pic with the hashtag #sunshinediy. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Don't forget to check out my last Craft Challenge post about a watering can here!

Mkay bye,
Noor

  5. The guitar is a Spanish development of the Arabic bowl back oud which was known in Spain from the 8th century. 12th century guitars had four strings and the flat back body is said to come from the Roman lyre, the cithara, which was also used in Spain.

  7. The electric guitar contains a lot of similarities to the acoustic, except for the electric guitar fact it is not usually hollow in the body. To produce loud music, the guitar needs to be plugged into an amplifier. There are many styles of the electric guitar. Some of flashy and some have extra features to create different sounds.

  8. These are a kind of digital amplifier that uses digital processors and special software to mimic the noise of widely known, normally tube based, amplifier designs. News
