Tips On How To Spice Up Your School Supplies

Hello everyone! I'M FINALLY DOING A DIY WHAATT! I know we all hate school but these school supplies might make you enjoy it a bit more! I have a couple ways to spice up those supplies so let's get into it!

***

-Putting band lyrics/book quotes on a binder/folder/notebook!

(I chose to do my favorite FOB song lyrics)

You can do this so many ways, with a whole song, a whole chapter, random quotes, random lyrics.

-WASHI TAPE EVERYTHING. Washi tape is your best friend when decorating ANYTHING, seriously.

-Using chalkboard paint to make a chalkboard notebook! You can get chalkboard paint from any craft store and it just makes an amazing notebook, great for writing little reminders and stuff :D

(a spinoff of this can be like a chalkboard label for your class instead of the whole notebook)

-I put all the Fall Out Boy albums in one of my binders and I think it just looks really really cool so you could definitely do that with any band/artist!

-If you don't have good handwriting you can write up a label on Word with some cute font and personally I think it looks better than if you wrote it out yourself.

-Take some magazine cutouts and some mod podge and make a mini collage on your item! It looks really tumblr (because you're totalllyy Tumblr Noor, right.) and really nice.

-Put a corkboard on your notebook! You can like pin random stuff on there and it's a great organization hack :)

THAT'S ALL THE TIPS I'VE GOT FOR YOU ALL! I hope you enjoyed and be prepared for some more school stuff because I love doing back to school stuff, but I hate going back to school. Does anyone understand?

Should I do middle school advice or Locker DIY/Organization next?

Mkay bye,
Noor

  1. I think you should do the locker DIYs before advice. They both sound like they'll be really good, and knowing your posts, I'm sure they will be! These are all great, I've definitely been doing the washi tape one a lot.

  4. Definitely do locker DIYs! I have no idea who I'm sharing my locker with and we have to share our lockers with someone, but if they're nice enough I think I could talk them into decorating our locker...

I think middle school advice and locker DIYs both sound fun, but I would really love to see middle school advice!

  6. I love the idea of having quotes and lyrics and just words that resonate with you as decoration - but what happens if one day they don't mean anything anymore, and your entire philosophy on life has changed? What happens when those words become depressing? Well, if you write it right then at least it'll look pretty :)

  14. A blackboard covered notebook sounds like the most amazing thing ever. I wonder why I have never thought of trying that before. That would be so useful for my writing notebooks actually.

Hey! Yes you, you're about to leave a comment, why thank you! Just remember, if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
